Clergy and laity—we’re kicking off 2026 with a series of focused, in-person training events designed to equip leaders across our conference. All North Georgia United Methodists are welcome to attend any training.
Youth Leaders and Leaders Who Are Youth: Experiential Training Event
Saturday, January 10 | 10 am–3 pm
Glisson Camp and Retreat Center, Dahlonega
This isn’t your typical leadership workshop! Join Russell Davis, the North Georgia Camp & Retreat Ministries Team, and the North East District for a hands-on experience where youth (grades 10–12) and adult leaders learn side by side. Explore practical tools for building stronger ministries, deeper relationships, and more effective leadership. Each church is invited to send 4–6 participants (adult accompaniment required for youth). Cost: $15 per person (lunch included).
